Haed | First Snow

Happy New Year to all of you kindly reading my blog
Any New Year Resolutions? For me it will be the usual:
Watch my weight and... A new one for this year: not buy any stash...
(For the exception of the Needlecraft Show in Manchester next month :P)

I have received my first Haed design at Christmas!
Of course it is now part of my WIP rotation!!
As you can see, I have already started stitching it on white Aida 18
These are just the first 2 or 3 boxes on the 1st page... It should be fun!

I'll post an update at the weekend

Happy Stitching!

Bonne et Heureuse Année 2013!
Le Père Noël a été très généreux cette année et m'a offert mon premier Haed!
Je l'ai déjà commencé sur toile Aida blanche 18
Je posterais une petite mise à jour ce weekend
Bonne semaine!

  1. That's my yearly resolution as well - to stitch from my stash and buy as little new stuff as possible. Buit from time to time I just need to buy a new chart - or charts, lol.
Happy New Year to you, too.

    1. Thanks Linda! I don't know if it's luck or not because it's my first Haed, but it's actually not difficult stitching, a lot of blocks of the same colour so far. It's just the quantity of stitches that are scary... IT'S FULL OF THEM :P

  12. Love that piece Mii! It is going to be gorgeous and I look forward to watching your progress. NOT sure I could go with the NO STASH buying resolution, that would entice me all the more to buy something.

    Happy New Years!

I purchased for myself the HAED Candy Rush, so cute, and when I saw the pages,my eyes opened very wide. lol But I shall, as you, take it a little at a time, and enjoy the cutie when finished. Will love to see yours as it comes along with other stitching of yours! Happy New Year!! :)

    1. Thanks! I understand it will be on between the 7th & 9th Feb so because we will be driving from Shropshire, we will probably make it on the Saturday. There is also a new Lego shop that has recently opened somewhere in Manchester. I'm hoping it's not too far from the Needle Show so like that I can spend money in the morning on vital essential "stash" and my hubby can spend money in the afternoon in the Lego shop... My little boy will want something to... It's going to be an expensive long day out :D We will have to look for each other on the day. It would be lovely to meet you :) Look for a red hair overweight woman with glasses & a French accent... Chances are it will be me :D

  24. o what kind of goal is that! No stash! Aaaaa, I think I would go crazy, haha. I wish you luck with it for sure. :D

    1. LOL, you always make me laugh!! I know, the no stash resolution is sooo silly!!! I'll try but I'm sure to fail miserably (although, I have enought stash at the moment to keep me busy for years) :) Funny, I had the same reaction with the Haed design. Believe me, this is the only "colourful" thread for this... All the rest is variation of greys :D
