Cushion cover

Another week finished and another weekend finally here,
it can only mean one thing: Stitching time!! (well I'm hoping!)

Apologies to all my online friends who come & view my blog regularly and also take time to always leave some sweet comments.
I had to switch the dreaded "word verifier" on again as I'm receiving anonymous unwanted comments
I know we all hate it, but I'm hoping it might put them off :)

Plenty of stitching done this week (every evening) on Love Heart
I'll share my progress in a future post...

I have made my first cushion cover too!
I looked through my stash and found a fabric remnant from Laura Ashley called Cottonwood Natural
I decided to give it a go & played with my sewing machine.
I'm still not 100% happy with my finishing
 - Always seems to be my problem! I wish they could come up with invisible stitches! Do such things exist? -

Time to prepare lunch & then a fun afternoon full of cross stitching & 6 Nations Rugby!

Happy Stitching!
Mii x

Alors voice ma toute première housse de coussin!
J'ai utilisé du tissu Laura Ashley
Je suis à peu contente du résultat mais la finition reste encore à désirer!!

A tout à l'heure!

  1. Yes, it does exist! Look up the ladder stitch on you tube. I can't find the tutorial I usually watch. Well, I have it memorized now, but there are great tutorials.

  19. I think you did a great job on your cushion. I totally understand what you mean about the stitches. I use to whip stitch everything closed until I discovered the ladder stitch. Totally made a difference for me.
