Whoo-hoo? Me? - Kincavel Krosses

I have a little finish to share with you all!

I've worked on a free chart I had in my stash for a little while now
This is Whoo-hoo? Me? from Kell Smurthwaite at Kincavel Krosses

I've stitched this cute little owl on Ivory Aida 16 count fabric
Using DMC colours 703, 738, 844, 869, 922, 3031 & B5200

Now for the fun bit!!
Yes, I have been adventurous girls and have finished it as a flat zippered pouch!!!
Whoo hoo!!!
I'm so proud of myself :)
I've always admired Valma's perfect pouches and could only dream of making one myself
Well!! After a lot of tutorial watching and a trip to the local stash shop to buy a zipper
I took a big breath and went for it!!
Here is the finished result

Je me suis lancée!
Et voila le résultat

Sooo pleased with my first finish
I know it's not perfect:
I should have sewn my fabric all along the zip (which of course I didn't)
so the right side of the zip is not neat & looks a bit bulky
and I have not used the stuff you're supposed to sandwich in between the inner & outer fabrics
Otherwise, it's really good
Check out the lining work!! :)

This little cutie has a little girl friend,
I will stitch her soon

Happy stitching!
Mii x

Mii
