La Scapigliata by Da Vinci - Yiota's XStitch | Update #1

I have finally started working on my sepia "big" project!

So this is La Scapigliata by Da Vinci from Yiota's XStitch
Stitched on Zweigart 28 ct Brittney Cream fabric
2 over 2, using listed DMC colours (all 14 of them!)

I am nearly a third done on page 1.
It is quite confetti heavy in places but as the whole project is only 4 pages long, I won't complain!
I know it is nothing compared to a HAED finish ☺

I'm sure you can all see which part of her face I've been working on
We can just about work out the eyes, nose & forehead...

Wishing you all the best for the Christmas period and
Happy Stitching!
Mii

  11. Very nice indeed. I am beginning to like the way a stitched 2 over 2 on 28 count looks like more than the equivalent on the 14 count. Also it is a bit like a QS of HAED ... some have only 4 pages. Gorgeous progress! Looking forward to your next update.
