Close To You - Maia - 2014 Update 1

Do you remember this lovely design??
Yes, my WIP/UFO, whichever is more appropriate...
I've been feeling in need of stitching something colourful this weekend
So decided to put a few crosses on these delightful tulips

To refresh your memory - as I'm ashamed to say that I last worked on this in Jan 2013...
This is Close To You from Maia
Stitched on 16 ct tan Aida fabric
Using Anchor stranded cotton
This beautiful design is from an original painting by artist Nel Whatmore

Picture below is where I'm at now

There is still time to take part in my Easter Egg-change!

Vous rappelez-vous de ce superbe design??
Biensur, mon WIP/UFO...
Ce weekend je voulais travailler sur quelque chose de coloré
J'ai donc déçidé de faire quelques croix sur ces très jolies tulipes

Je vous rafraichi la mémoire parce que ça fait un petit bout de temps que j'ai brodé sur ce projet

Busy bee...

I'm afraid this is a short and sweet post...

It is not for the lack of stitching of course! Although I must admit, this first week back to work has been a long & extremely busy one
& I had one or two non-stitching evenings, as I was feeling too tired to do anything

I have been stitching, but cannot yet share my work with you I'm participating to a Valentine exchange with Shannon from A bit of this and that and my focus this week was for this.

I haven't had a chance to work on La Scapigliata By Da Vinci and haven't even started the Lizzie Kate February Stamp yet
So sadly a boring post with no pictures!! Sorry!
Can you forgive me?
I did read all your posts!!! ☺ Have a stitch-tastic weekend, Happy Stitching! Mii
