June Stamp - Lizzie Kate

Here we are, at the start of a new month!
So this is time for my Lizzie Kate stamp post

oOo

Design June stamp from Lizzie Kate.
Stitched on a light orange aida 14 ct fabric, kindly donated by Jacquie
(Thank you again! I told you these would come handy ☺)

This time, I have used over dyed threads from WDW and 2 colours from DMC
The stitching was finished off using the 3 little pink buttons for the flowers.

The overall project has been finished this month as a mounted flat ornament.
Using a mix of pink little beads for the edge,
A piece of chocolate brown felt for the back and
A sweet pink ribbon offered a little while ago by my lovely friend Valma

oOo

There is still plenty of time to enter my blog anniversary giveaway!
Someone could be the lucky winner of a voucher to spend in a fantastic French boutique :)
Just check out the previous posts!

Happy Stitching!
Mii

  1. This is lovely! Why don't you make a tutorial for us how to make those flat ornaments? It seems that I too could manage to make one if I knew how as I can't manage to make the other types of finishing!AriadnefromGreece!

    1. So sorry Ariadne! I don't have the time to start making tutorials but to be honest, I always use the instructions I found on someone else's tutorial :D For this one for example, I went on the Learn To Finish With The Twisted Stitcher website: http://tts-learntofinish.blogspot.co.uk/2011/10/flat-ornament.html. Go and have a look, it really isn't difficult. xxx

    1. Jacquie, believe me, this is far from perfect! I'm not happy with the beads finish... it's too long on the left hand side...
As mentioned to Ariadne, I'm not ingenious here, just hop over to the following link http://tts-learntofinish.blogspot.co.uk/2011/10/flat-ornament.html (Learn to finish with the twister stitcher), she has tutorials for nearly everything & it's quite simple too. All I did is read & follow her instructions :)
