August Stamp - Lizzie Kate

I know, I'm cutting it a bit fine,
but I've just managed to finish my monthly stamp!

So here we have the design
August Stamp from Lizzie Kate

Stitched on 28ct Britney white evenweave
2 over 2, using the recommended DMC threads

Finished off (ever so quickly) as an ornament

I've used the provided little buttons for the centre of the sunflowers,
gingham ribbon and green felt from my stash

Apologies for the little bit of fabric that are showing on the pictures,
I was trying to be quick and forgot to remove them...

I'll be back tomorrow with another post
(I know, 3 in 3 days! What's going on??)
about the Tutti Frutti Swap

Toodles,
Mii

    1. It is so simple Linda, you have to try! :)
I use mating board and stuck a bit of quilting stuff on it.
Then placed the stitching on top of it and used the lace method for the back.
Sandwich a ribbon and glue a thick piece of felt.
Carefully use the /\/\/\ shears for a nicer finish and voila...
