Skating Robin - Joan Elliott (JEC SAL)

I have a small finish!!!

Skating Robin
from Joan Elliott

This is the January month from the 2015 calendar gifted
in issue 224 (December) of TWOCS magazine

This is the first of 12 designs for my JEC SAL

Stitched on 28ct Zweigart evenweave,
pearl grey colour

Using all preconised DMC threads,
2 over 2

Finished off as a pinkeep
using fabric, ribbon & pins from my stash.

I absolutely love it and I'm really pleased with the overall finish.

I wasn't particularly fond of the design to start with,
but this little robin is slowly starting to grow on me!

Toodles,
Mii

Did you get the little easel from The Works? I have several and you can colour them with felt tipped pens to make them look rather nice.
