Granny Stripe Baby Blanket - Maybe Matilda

Hello Peeps!!

I am back & am so so so happy :)

Do you remember my little crochet adventure??
Well, that is it!! All done as off yesterday afternoon!!

Yes, I have made & finished my first crochet project:
A granny stripe baby blanket.

I am so proud of myself and am ever so grateful for
the wonderful tutorial made by Maybe Matilda

OoO

So here it is, after a bit of practising,
it's done & ready to go to it's new home.

I have used
DMC Natura Cotton
Ombre (less than 3 50gr yarn) and
Amaranto (less than 2 50gr yarn)

Finished off with a scalloped border

Apologies for blurry & colour variations on my pictures...

I love this little blanket!
It's so soft too.

OoO

Well my little hiatus is now over.
I am back to my beloved cross stitching needles that I have missed so much.

Will be back soon to share with you my first

Toodles,
Mii

  8. It looks fabulous! Such pretty colors and even stitching. I'm always too bored by the end to do those beautiful edgings. You are now 'hooked' as they say.

Very happy my first project was a baby blanket... much smaller than a full size one :) I think then I would have got bored a bit with it.

  25. See, see, I knew you could do it! :D YouTube videos helped me a lot (hooray for library internet lol) when I was first starting, especially because I am a derp -- magic rings?! No magic here! Your blanket looks great, so neatly hooked. And the edge is perfect!! Are you sure you're a new hooker?!
