CJC 2016 #14

Good morning!

CJC 2016 #14 is

Best Friends

This is how it looks when finished

Source: My Big Toe Designs

This is my start...

The chart was kindly gifted by Rachel when we first met.

Stitched on Sew It All 16 count Aida fabric
Aqua colour

Using DMC threads 2 over 1
Stitching time so far: 2hr 15mn

Apologies again for the poor quality photo.
It was dark outside at the time & I had to switch the light on.
No doubt it will look much better & different next time I blog about it,
when it will be finished :)

Bear with me, only one more start to go for the CJC 2016...

Toodles,
Mii

  2. As you know I've stitched this one too - I used overdyed threads but I think I prefer your version with DMC. Only one more new start then you can start enjoying some finishes!

I decided to stick with DMC as I didn't have all of the overdyed threads.

  4. This is a rather cute design. I love blog hopping as I get to see new charts and designs I have not seen before. I think I am going through a cute/adorable stitching phase! Ha ha yes the one I am stitching right now, the Tralala design was indeed donated by your good self to the Stitchers Anon raffle last year! It's such a pretty design I thought I had better stitch it! Thank you for donating it and how awesome I won it!
    Happy stitching
    Smiles :)

I didn't know about My Big Toe design too. It's a quick and colourful design which should be finished in no time.
Did you see, I've started a Tralala design on day 11 of the CJC? I love those designs. Glad you're enjoying yours :) Thanks for stopping by & commenting

  6. Look how much you've stitched on this cute pattern already?!?! This looks like it will go very quickly - although don't we all know that 'looks' can be deceiving - LOL! How many times have I thought that a pattern will be a quick stitch and it seems like it takes forever!! And then there is the finishing issue ....

Only one more day left for you start one more project - it will be so fun to see what you choose.

    1. Lol, same here!
That is what the CJC made me realise. You don't stitch much as you think you do :D This is why I have started keeping track of my stitching time. I am shocked it takes so long to work on even a small project!
