Close To You - Maia

Hello Peeps!
I did say I would be back soon :)

You might have already read Justine's latest post
titled Faithfull April.
Justine will be stitching on her awesome rocket only,
throughout the coming up month.

I thought this was a great idea.
Perfect to motivate me in progressing and
maybe finishing (well, I can hope) my tulips wip!
Yes, do you remember?

Close To You
From Maia

Here is what it will look when finished

And here is how I last left it... back in Nov 2014...

So, I am tagging along with my friend for the whole of April.

I will do a half way progress post on the 15th
and a final post on the 30th.

Let the fun begin!
Thank you Justine for the incentive ;)

Toodles,
Mii

  1. Wow this is a gorgeous pattern. Looks like a painting. Is it a kit? Sorry I don't know much about Maia , recently discovered this designer.
Good luck for your faithful stitching..lol

    1. Thank you sweetie!
This design is based on an original painting from the artist Nel Whatmore.
Maia is known as a design house at Anchor, so obviously this is a kit.
I have had this in my WIP list for way too long, time to get on with this!! :)

I see how things are going but it has now inspired me to maybe do "a month on a Haed" sometimes in the next few months...

There is still a lot left to stitch and I hope I will make good progress.
A finish would definitely be a plus, for me and my mum!
She knows I've started something for her years ago and I think she gave up on the idea of having something to show off displayed on her wall ;)
