I Love A Carrot - Soda Stitch

Hello Peeps!

With Easter just around the corner,
I can finally show you a little make I did for a recent
Easter exchange organized by Albéna

My small package went to
Martine (no blog) in France.

As well as my stitched model, my exchange included:

An Easter card, 3 skeins of  Anchor threads,
a DMC Tulips cross stitch mini kit, Easter ribbon
and a Lindt bunny paw chocolate

oOoOo

For my stitched piece, I have opted to work on a chart called
I Love A Carrot from Soda Stitch

My model was stitched on 16 count Sewitall aida fabric
Cloud blue colour

Using DMC threads, 2 over 1
Total stitching time: 22 hours

And was finished off as a cube using
orange polka dot fabric and ribbons.
- Which you obviously can't see because of the angle of my pictures! D'oh!-
I was really pleased with my cube finish
and hope Martine likes it too.

I do love these little carrot & rabbit
Happy Easter!
Toodles,
Mii
