Spring String Snippet - Lizzie Kate

Hello Hoppity Peeps!!

Today's post is about the Easter exchange organized by Albéna

You have seen my model in my last post,
now it's time to show you what I have received.

OoOoO

My package came from France and was from the host herself, Albéna!

What a lovely surprise.
And what a sweet make I have received!

Albéna appears to know me well...
She has stitched a sweet and colourful design!
Spring String Snippet

As you know, I love Lizzie Kate's fun designs
and even have this cute little design in my stash!

It is beautifully stitched on a cute hand towel!
That will definitely come in useful,
but perhaps too nice to use!

There are more goodies!!

A bag of yummy chocolates,

A cross stitch book from Isabelle Picot
- the French designer behind Zaza Picque -

And a glittery Easter card

I am so happy with all my gifts,
thank you again sweetie for organizing a successful exchange!

Happy Easter!

Toodles,
Mii

  8. What a beautiful and unusual gift! I agree with you and believe the towel to be too good to actually use. I hope you enjoy the new chart booklet, and expect you have already enjoyed at least some of the chocolates! :)

  15. What lovely exchange gifts you received! Such a clever idea to stitch the LK string design on a towel but I agree with you, it's far too lovely to be used. Display only!
I hope the exchange parcel you sent has been received now.

I love it!! I was scared to use it in fear to damage the stitching but it is all ok even after a first wash :)

  22. What a lovely stitched towel. It is far too nice to use! I keep a spare white towel for putting on the ironing board when I am ironing my stitching. It stops the stitches being squashed. That would be a nice practical way to use the towel without getting it wet!
