Woodland Sampler (March) - The Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery

Hello Peeps!

A little while ago I came across a lovely cross stitch pattern
from a company that was unknown to me.

Of course, I decided to purchase the chart and start working on it asap!
My Easter break saw the beginning of this new project.

I have borrowed the image from the website
to give you an idea of what the finished project will look like

As you have noticed, this cute design is a calendar.

I thought it would be more fun to stitch a month at a time
and make it a year long on going project!

So here is March
A mushroom in a terrarium

Ok,  I admit this is not the most exciting start.
But the designs will get cuter as I go along in the calendar, I promise :)

Stitched on 16 ct Aida fabric from Sew It All
Iced Coffee colour

2 over 1, using recommended DMC threads

I will be back soon!
Toodles,
Mii

  18. How cute! They look like quick stitches for each month. Are you going to stitch it all on one piece like the picture or each month separate?

    1. Well March was quick, but it is one of the smaller size one.
I will stitch them all on the same piece of fabric like shown on the designer's picture. If I am happy with my finish, I might even consider having this one framed professionally & displayed in my home (I don't tend to do that ever).
