Busy as a bee - Lizzie Kate

Good morning Peeps!

Here is my latest finish

Busy as a bee

Stitched on 16 count Aida fabric from Sew It All
Rustico colour

Using recommended DMC threads, 2 over 1

I have also opted to use Kreinik thread as I wanted the bugs wings to be sparkly
(which obviously doesn't show well on my pictures!)

Started on the 11/06/2016
Finished on the 13/06/2016

Finished off as a small pincushion
using bee printed fabric from my stash

Toodles,
Mii

    1. Thanks Annie! It simply because I once again chose a fabric too light to show the original colour for the wings.
I thought I would get away with sparkles but still had to add some backstitch to make it stand out a bit more :)

It was a fun small design to work on... unfortunately, despite all this summery feel, the weather is still miserable in my small part of the world.
