Let's be jolly - Ursula Michael

Hello Peeps!

Time to share a cross stitch finish with you all.

This is a chart I was lucky to win in one of Katie's giveaway
Thank you again Katie!

If I recall correctly, I started it in December 2016 & was hoping for a Christmas finish.
Christmas has been & gone but I finally managed to finish it!!

Let's Be Jolly

Stitched on 32ct evenweave fabric from Sew It All, Cloud Winter Sky colour.
Worked 2 over 2, using the recommended DMC threads

Now it's time to pass on this lovely chart to another stitcher.
If you'd like to work on this snowman, please leave a comment on this post.

I am happy to post worldwide.

Should there be more than one person interested,
winner will be randomly picked and announced on the 1st February 2017.

Toodles,
Mii

I initially wanted to use one that was white with printed blue snowflakes on the background but thought it would clash too much with the design. Glad I went for something more subtle.

  6. Il est splendide ce bonhomme de neige. Une créatrice que j'aime bien, ses modèles sortent un peu des sentiers battus.

  43. Congratulations on a lovely finish! He is fab! These word charts are really neat aren't they? Great choice of fabric too, haven't tried 32 count before but evenweave is definitely the way to go with these charts, stitched one last year on the recommended 14 count aida & the fractionals just about drove me mad!! Happy stitching! :-) Helen

    1. Thanks Helen!! Yes, I made that mistake too, I was so eager to start it that I went for a lovely snowflake printed Aida and soon stopped and swapped fabric. It does look great but I'm glad I've worked on something a bit different. However, I did miss my full little crosses ;)
