Do more of what makes you happy - Abby Rose Designs

Hello Peeps,

Well in between all those small monthly projects that I seem to be focusing on this year,
I do try to find time here and there to work on other pieces...

And so, I finally manage to come round to blogging about this small finish
I did a little while ago

Do more of what makes you happy

Apologies with my pictures, the sun was out in force at the time and unfortunately made them a bit too bright & shiny :)

A sweet & quick design, very much in tone with the Lizzie Kate style

Worked on Zweigart cotton evenweave, 32 count Brittney, granite colour
2 over 2 using listed DMC threads

Yet to be finished into something
- That is when "stitching" bug decides to leave some room/inspiration for "finishing" bug to strike! -

oOo

If you'd like a chance to stitch this pattern, please say so in your comment.
I am giving away the original chart to one lucky stitcher.
Happy to post worldwide too!

Winner will be announced in my next post!

Mii

    1. I know, it will join my pile of "to finish" models for now.
I am just glad I have stitched it, it is one less in my "to stitch stash"! So, get rid of it in one pile & move it to another pile!! Such logic :D

  24. Oh my gosh that is gorgeous! I've not come across that designer before, off to find out more... Please count me in for the draw. Sometimes I think it's a better idea to wait until you have a few small finishes to be made up because then you are "in the finishing groove"! Plus you have all the materials out so it takes less time (or am I just well practised at justifying the finishing pile? ;-)) Have a great week, Helen

    1. Will definitely enter your name for the draw, thank you.
I understand what you mean. I do not have a craft room, so when finishing up projects my dining room is used & is turning into a real mess. Plus it takes ages bringing everything out. The problem is that it usually takes me an afternoon to make just one finish!! :) I'm so slow & fussy...
