March Yearbook - Lizzie Kate

Good afternoon Peeps,

Another small update on my other monthly
on going project for this year

March Yearbook
from Lizzie Kate

Worked on 16 count Aida fabric from Sew it all
Linen colour

2 over 1 using DMC threads

Here how they look all together!
With a cheeky sneak peak of next month too...

Each monthly designs also come with their own charm.
I have decided to not add them for now.

As I am stitching them all together,
I am slightly worried the finished piece will look a bit to "bling-y" to my liking.

I will have to think about that again in December, when finished!

Toodles,
Mii

I definitely won't be putting the charm for each month as it would really look horrible but perhaps on every two months... Best wait for December first & I'll then make my mind up.

    2. The expression is "March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb".
ie it roars in with high winds and storms and ends with lovely, calm Spring weather. If we are lucky and don't have snow for Easter!

  29. Each design is lovely and they look great together. The colours are wonderful too. I think the lion and the lamb are to do with the saying that March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb. Can't wait to see more of this each month :)

  38. Oh my, so lovely again, the March installment. I have seen a lion on several monthly designs so I'm, not wondering any more. What I always wonder about are kites in spring as here kite flying is practiced in autumn.
