Under the sea SAL - Durene Jones (Part 1)

Hello peeps!

Despite all my best efforts in resisting the temptation,
I have recently joined the

Under the sea SAL
available at Lakeside Needlecraft

This is a year long project consisting of
12 monthly parts exclusively designed by Durene Jones

The end design will represent a full under the sea picture

Of course, I am a bit behind at the moment as the 3rd part has been released a few days ago,
but I should be able to catch up in no time!

So here is my first part, Mr Octopus!

I have decided to stitch the whole SAL on
16 count Aida fabric from Sew It All,
Ocean colour

Design worked 2 over 1
using the recommended DMC threads

So much details & colour changes,
Mr Octopus has been so much fun to stitch!

See you soon for part 2!

Toodles,
Mii
